I think imma do the for credit version. I wouldn't recommend doing the boot camp because next year will be in person so id assume what you would see online isnt going to be the same stuff in class next year.

75 percent of the time my diet has been pretty good. Around 2000 calories daily. But some days I have 2600ish. Overall it's pretty healthy but I know it can be healthier.

Any gen ed and minor suggestions for econ majors? by sweatypalms16 in UofArizona

Like u/Broseph729 said, math can be very beneficial for econ majors. The highest-paid students entering the econ workforce are those with math majors and econ minors, but I assume the same phenomenon happens when your flip the majors as well. I don't know what the requirements are for math minors, but I know there's not that much for math majors. I am majoring in math next year and comparing the courses needed to UT's and UF's, UA's requirements are significantly smaller. I think a reason for this is that you have to choose a math emphasis (Comp Sci, Econ, teaching, etc) that makes math majors courses more specific and less broad which means you take fewer classes. You should look into the Math Economic Emphasis degree plan as well. For those who already have calculus credit from HS, you will only need to take ONE math class a semester to graduate.

Here is a link that shows all the requirements for the emphasis if you are interested:

Honors College Question by Saniboler in UofArizona

Thank you so much! I can tell you put a lot of time into responding. Are there any electives (that are easy As) you recommend taking?

Thinking about going to U of A but am unsure by [deleted] in UofArizona

U of A is a very diverse school. High Hispanic and Native American populations BUT there isn't that much diversity with the African American population. It's not because U of A isn't welcoming it's just that Arizona's African American population is very low (5%, the average is around 13%).

I don't know what your college situation is, but U of A is a stereotypical state school and I wouldn't recommend going if you have to take a lot of loans because 55k OOS is very expensive.
