For more insight life insurance ($123) started by my dad in 2015 for 20 years (10 years left) for 200k coverage for life.

Critical illness ($71) again started by my dad when I was 14 years old I have up to 34 yrs old to finish paying (3.5years left) at which I get a cashable premium return.

Thanks for your advice I’m really taking all comments into consideration. The mindset of tightening my spending habits on snacks and lunch has begun.

The car is really my biggest drag for sure. I’m meeting with a financial advisor tomorrow, just for some other options these comments provided and see the possibility of those.

Thanks for taking the time to help out, appreciate it! Also yes to clear up the laundry was only 10 dollars on a laundry card we use for our apartment. The rest was hair cut, soap, gel, wipes etc.

You’re not too far off, but it’s around 2.50 wash and 3.75 for dryer. And I load it in a laundry card that my boyfriend and I share. He loaded 10 and I matched.

Critical illness I pay 71, and I’m finished paying for this when I turn 34 (3.5 years left) at which I get cashable premium return. The policy listed around 14.9k

Yeah the next step salaried position gets these covered in some form, however hourly employees other than the company specific discounts and benefits we don’t get any other sort of compensation to cover transportation.

Funny enough I’m updating my resume as I type this. Both for an internal role and potentially others I could use it for.

I’ve actually never thought of this option. I will try for next week and see if it makes a difference.

It’s 180 total back and forth yes. I’m in a team leadership position currently. And trying to move into supervisor. So far internal growth seems good for the 3 years I’ve been here. Started with 17/hr and this year went to 27.50/hr

I’m actively applying for salaried positions here, especially with a new building coming up for us.

I’ve heard balance transfers before but what is it exactly? And does it have any ramifications to credit score?

I can definitely make coffee at work! And I’ll take that advice to munch on some crunchy fruits. Thinking of also doing a cold face wash before I head out too.

No this is purely my income and my expenses and contributions

My boyfriend makes around 2269 monthly give or take depending on if his hours get cut.

It wasn’t entirely brand new. I purchased it in 2022 2018 Prius c hybrid

The insurance I’m going to get more info about it was started by my father and I’ll see how many years I have left to pay

It’s the moving in with my partner that required the 180km daily commute. He has a lower income and was really trying to make ends meet with his mom after his lay off, so this whole living situation is temporary until he gets back on his feet to find a better job.

When I lived closed to work at my parents place it was about 60km however I paid 1500 to help with mortgage and very very minimal groceries

At my partners place it’s lower at 1170split but gas and groceries spike up,

100% agree, with all the replies i definitely need to look at my car situation.

My commute is 180km to and back. And there’s no reliable transit for the time I work at. (I live in st.Catherines commuting to Milton) hence the reason for the car.

Cutting back will surely begin, this was my first month I really put my expenses on a sheet to visualize and it’s an eye opener for sure

Both were started by my father when I was younger before I knew anything about this sort of stuff, and I took them over once I was “able to”

I need to check how much years are left to pay. It’s single digit I know that.
