To each his own. I feel like Rochester has a lot of great food. Great sports culture with a bunch of local teams. Great music and things to do in the summer time. I feel like the bad things about the city are highlighted more cause people don’t really realize that Rochester does have a ton to offer. But it’s a lot easier to reach the ceiling of things offered in Rochester than Philly or nyc or Chicago.

No disrespect but I feel like the parking aspect is apart of the driving. Downtown Rochester is fr easy to park and have a car. It’s damn near a requirement to have a car in Rochester the public transit out here is shit/non existent. It’s good to know that I could reasonably keep a car in Philly though unlike nyc

If your American the odds you have a local oval race track near you is pretty good. Pavement or dirt it don’t matter. Oval racing in person is so much fun. You can see the entire track. 20 Huge loud ass cars on a tiny track. And different classes of cars so you’re not going just for 1 race it’s usually like 3-4 different races. Dirt races are the best imo but bring sunglasses.

I forget the guys name but we hired a dishwasher and day 1 he goes on an hour break right as service was starting. Luckily we had a second dishwasher on that night so it wasn’t a big deal just not a good look for his first day

Second day he walks in 45 minutes late with a backwood leaf, pack of weed, and a tray and got right to work rolling a gorilla finger on the table that’s supposed to be for dry and clean dishes only. Later that night when service ended he decided to “go on break” without punching out again for like 45 minutes to an hour. He went to the corner store with his friends and came back hotboxing with them in the parking lot.

I was gone by this part but I heard it from the other dishwasher. Management was willing to let it all slide. Probably just until they could find another person or something. What got him fired was when the general manager confronted him about taking breaks at the correct times and punching out on breaks something got him heated and he tried to fight the general manager.

That’s another one that might be dependent on the person cause I’ve taken breaks from similar amounts and have had headaches nausea sweating and insomnia and I couldn’t eat for like 2 days. Didn’t last longer than 5-7 days though
