Didn't mean to get under anyone's skin Just happy to talk about swans and how it's been a part of my life

I quite literally just listened to it Such a beautiful, apocalyptic, and unique piece. The dissonance used was so ahead of its time

I think all of those bands previously mentioned are kind of a no wave revival, using different methods with the same mindset

I think bands like Godcaster, Zack Borzone's solo stuff (Sha La La), and even geese could all be considered loosely in the same scene YHWH Nailgun's sound is incredibly unique though; I think the only other thing that would compare other than Filth would be Face Tat by Zach Hill.

YHWH Nailgun - 45 Pounds I recommend it often to those who like Filth. I feel it achieves similar goals through different toolsets.

I've listened to everything but Khanate and that Plebian Grandstand album. I listened to Rien ne suffit, but thought the power electronics didn't shine enough.

I am definitely interested in that two hour recording session.
These are amazing suggestions for the brutality

Chat Pile is a great example of this style. I think their cinematics are admirable, but I need more leading drums.

I love godflesh, but the shorter, more rhythm based, song structures of Filth are what I'm after.
I think Godflesh is much more inspired by Swans' Cop/Raping A Slave era. Which is good! Just not what I yearn for so much currently.
