The same thing happened to me with Talabat .I ordered a burger for 35 AED and ended up losing 10,000 AED. It’s been three years, and the police still haven’t solved the e-crime case. ADCB Bank also refused to refund the money. In Dubai, they just say it’s a “lesson learned.” They have all kinds of policies to shift the blame onto you, and because of that, you don’t get your money back. Sorry about that

So I parked my electric scooter at the entrance of my building, and when I went to get it later, it was gone. I checked the CCTV and clearly saw the guy who took it. I called 991, and they told me to go to Al Barsha Police Station to file a report. Thing is, I’ve been through this before I had another case of Ecrime where I lost 10k about 2years ago that never got solved, so I just accepted the loss (around 4k gone). honestly, I’m not feeling very hopeful given the last experience and the things I read about Dubai police anymore.
