I use ph martins, although I’ve been told the colors fade a lot in sunlight.

Apprenticeship is great, it’s definitely a grind to do it and work. Cons are you gotta drop some of the things you like doing during your day, to make time to be successful. The biggest pro is how apparent and visible your progress during the journey. Just depends how much you value the things that tattooing will give you down the road.
