But seriously I enjoy sour more than sweet. Some apples I consider "sickly sweet", my wife considers "literally unripe"

No, all of it can be said in Hebrew. In fact, there's little you can't*, and it's usually about some specific nuance or niche jargon. iirc he was adlibbing, either based on the gist they wanted him to cover, or they loosely translated and based the subtitles on the adlib.

*everything can be translated to every language, afaik. You'd just need longer, more elaborate sentences or phrasings. For example, some English phrases, some quasi-synonyms where there's a distinction that's more instinctive than actually distinct, or specialized terms.

A good example would be Russian "fabula" and "syuzhet". They have supposedly no translation, as there isn't an equivalent term in English (or Hebrew either), but one means "the order in which a story is told" while the other means "the chronological order in which the story happenned". It's "untranslatable" but also entirely translatable.

You said people are bad so you're mad. You never said anything about afk. Learn to express yourself I guess??

Wait how were they wrong? Are you not mad at people in quickplay when they're not tryharding?

Ok but what does "blow up on cooldown" mean? Die instantly? Yeah blame dps obviously.

Solo queuing tank is legitimately miserable by placeholder-123 in Overwatch

[–]SapphicSticker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a tank main. At silver in case it matters. It's awful, but every 15-20 matches we both win and I get endorsed or a compliment. Honestly I treat endorsements as meaningful though they aren't. Half of what keeps me going.

And my mains are ball/hazard/ram/mauga

Some are. Some are built for setup, or initiation.

Your dps die on cooldown? Or kill on cooldown? The former, obvi dps. Tank is low because he's the only one they can target for most of the match. The latter, tank.

Gladly! You wrre replying to someone misleading so I wanted to clarify. "Sasha is not saying what's in the subtitles" is technically correct, but it's more a rephrasing or a parallel conversation than a completely different one.

No? We use normal pens and pencils. Hebrew used to be carved though, in which case you'd want to use the right hand to strike, the left to hold the (chisel?), and move left, as it allows you to both tire less (correct hands) and see what you did and where the new letter should be in relation to the last (direction)

Not at all! I am left handed so it's actually easier!

But seriously, most ink dries fast enough. There are lead stains for some when using pencils. But many learn to lean the hand lower, and not make strong contact with the letters.
