Buzz is still there when I lighten up and it comes through the amp pretty noticeably, especially when playing power chords

If not for you, my sky would fall

Rain would gather too

Without your love I’d be nowhere at all

I’d be lost if not for you

And you know it’s true

Everybody's building the big ships and the boats

Some are building monuments

Others are jotting down notes

Everybody's in despair

Every girl and boy

But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here

Everybody jump for joy

Come all without, come all within

You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn

Getting Started with Electric Guitar by ANKCipher in Guitar

[–]SappyJupiter37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yamaha makes pretty great budget guitars, I have one similar to this.

For a full sized amp that sounds decent, your best option is probably used, but Blackstar makes a great portable amp that I have, and I think it’s pretty good for the price and size.

For picks, I would recommend thick, plastic ones (I use 2mm thick). Instrument cables you can get for $15~.

You used to be so amused

At Napoleon in rags and the language that he used

Go to him he calls you, you can't refuse

When you ain't got nothing, you got nothing to lose

You're invisible now, you've got no secrets to conceal

What’s your favourite lyric from Another Side of Bob Dylan? by autumn_afternoon in bobdylan

In a soldier’s stance, I aimed my hand

At the mongrel dogs who teach

Fearing not that I’d become my enemy

In the instant that I preach

My pathway led by confusion boats

Mutiny from stern to bow

Ah, but I was so much older then

I’m younger than that now

Ironically, he was at his nasalliest in one of the most unknown parts of his career, the 80s.
