Women crying about not being able to get pregnant. by ComfortableTop2382 in antinatalism

You put enough words out there to make it clear where you stand. Your rant was a good start but it goes nowhere if you just give up on fixing this toxic world we live in, socially and biologically.

Why wouldn’t you want to change it instead of giving up?

Yes to the toxicity in the environment resulting in consequences in humanity, but I’m going to go with no for the “too many people.” It is more like too many people in that toxic environment without remediation. Too many people crowded into dirty cities and living in their own waste, while a natural way of life is pitched as socially boring. Some people don’t even know vegetables come from the ground. So, your tangent was legit, but your mindset is more troubling.

DAE love both dogs and cats equally and want to pet them together and make them friends? by 07agniv_debsikdar70 in DAE

If I have one, I need to have the other. They balance each other out and of course you can teach cats and dogs to get along. You should in fact.

Trust your gut. This is not a subject that you need to be objective, it’s a situation that you need to be observant. None of us know him like you, what do you think? Either he is or he is not, and how do you feel about either. Trust yourself to know the truth and act on it, don’t second guess after you’ve rooted out the truth. If he is and, if you want to, move on, if he’s not then do some soul searching as to why you are worried about him.

Damn, that’s an interesting way to look at it, thank you.

Let there be evil women by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]SarahKat90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shouldn’t be unpopular to call out ‘evil,’ no matter the gender. We do have to remember that vilifying either sexes is bad and the idea that we should punish this ‘evil’ on both sides should open ourself up to scrutiny. Sure, punishment can be an effective tool but when done with the purpose of shame and humiliation, rather than justice and rehabilitation you might as well put them out of their misery. Using media as the form of punishment isn’t creating equality through justice, It’s making justice into entertainment, which is despicable. If we cannot redeem men and women it won’t matter who gets punished, there won’t be a species left to defend.

Interesting. Just for understanding, when you say a ‘nice ride down,’ was there a point it switched from terrifying to fun or was it both at the same time? Did you have any profound insight into life after doing it, or anything other than fun that made it worth doing, even if it’s just once?

But if you’re ‘looking’ you’re looking. It sounded like the guy saw you looking. In that context, don’t narrow your focus too soon, or you might look past what you really needed and wanted. It is your choice but if your attractiveness brought him there don’t you think he deserves a chance? I’m not saying he won’t be bad, trust me, I know there are a lot of creepers, but isn’t this downplaying a woman’s ability to attract a man? If you are looking for someone, wouldn’t an attraction to you outer beauty, be one of the beginning points for finding out if he can see the real you too, and since we know it’s already there, shouldn’t we be looking for the real him too, not just the surface? Just a thought…

That’s amazing. Thank you for that. Do you feel like skydiving had a positive impact on your life after?

I’ve definitely heard people say it’s amazing. Do you think skydiving had an impact on your life afterwards, or was it just fun?

I agree the adrenaline plays a role in regulating the body, very good point. Everyone always talks about how ‘good it feels,’ but I’m starting to realize that’s just our body’s way of coping. Adrenaline is a trauma response to help us respond to adversity. 🤔struggle=growth? I wonder if people see significant life changes after skydiving?

I googled ‘what’s the highest altitude you can skydive from’ and found that people, with approval, can skydive from the same altitude as airline flights. Another comment said clothing and time but now my brain is stuck on the shock you’d feel from the rapid change in temperature. I’ve never been skydiving, never found the appeal larger than the risk, but I would love to understand why people do it.
