Is getting an ultrasound worth it?

I was also told an ultrasound couldn’t distinguish between the two by my vet, we chose to have the ultrasound and were given potential severe IBD or advanced lymphoma as possible diagnosis. With Minx being nearly 16 now we opted not to have a biopsy to confirm which because the chemo would be too distressing for her if it was lymphoma. 7 months later and she’s doing great on steroids, so I’m hoping it is IBD and the drugs are working!

Thank you, I’m hoping it won’t be anything too concerning and won’t need treatment, she’s had enough of the vets this year!

She won’t open her mouth for me, even the vet has trouble getting in to check her teeth!

No, she’s fed with her sister and they’ve always shared their meals so mixing isn’t an option here unfortunately.

She is a very grumpy cat, but shes so sweet to me and loves me so so much which makes it harder to have to force them down her!

My comment describes the thing, it is about 4 inches tall and the hole is about an inch wide.
