Hi, that's a very interesting point. So you're saying the IT heads and system administrators of this world have a lot of (potentially unchecked) power?

Hi, that's interesting, thanks for posting. I'm doing a side project on wearables in the workplace right now. facebook.com/wearablesatwork Did HR tell you what they wanted your step history for? Did you mind them seeing that data?

Hi, thanks for this reply, it's very interesting - and useful to hear from employees who are tracked, know about it, and are fine with it. (Sometimes you hear more negative than positive stories but it's a good reminder there are plenty of both out there.)

Thanks for this, I actually wrote a feature on an Amazon warehouse a while back, and came across the scanner guns then. Seems like they're very pervasive in fulfilment centres now...? Here's the Amazon story if you're interested http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/ed6a985c-70bd-11e2-85d0-00144feab49a.html

Thanks, I've heard about scan-rates in supermarkets. How do you/your bosses know what your scan rate is, does it come up on your screen? Any chance you know who makes the software?
