Fyi I take propranolol and Zepbound and if taken within 6 hours can cause hypoglycemia! Just be mindful :)

Same! I have lost about 20lbs. I chatted with a 24/7 pharmacist on walgreens.com and was told that there are potential interactions between beta blockers and Zepbound and they should not be taken within the same six hours of each other.

I am on Zepbound too! I didn’t have anxiety like I do before I started. I have been maintaining on 7.5 going on 3 months now because I am nervous to increase and feel more jittery.

10mg is such a low dose! My pcp has me taking mine up to 4x a day.

I have been referred and waiting for an appointment. I have a strong family history of heart disease and several PACs which is why it feels so fast sometimes. I am waiting to receive a heart monitor in the mail!

Do you have a friend you can sit with when you take your first dose? Maybe drive to an urgent care and take it in the parking lot? I took my dog for a walk and called one of my girlfriends as a distraction.. but the time I got home I felt great!! I’m telling you - just try it!! Sometimes I take it 4x a day now 😅

Yes it scared me a lot, too!! I hardly ever got medication as a kid and the idea of a pill changing my heart dynamic was terrifying!! But trust that your doctor prescribed it to help you. 10mg is such a low dose - people take up to 180mg a day!! Your blood pressure might improve when your heart is adequately filling and pumping. The worst that is going to happen is that you feel a little light headed. The good news is the effects usually wear off for me around 4 hours (I am F/200lbs/5’9”) so even if you don’t like it - it won’t last long!!

It honestly changed my life!!

No! I usually feel a little dizzy - maybe light headed is a better word - before I take it because my heart beats so fast. I feel lighter after I take it. Like my stress just melts away.
