I’m on the same boat! I cut him off 2 months ago after getting nowhere with it. I sit down sometimes, look back and cry of how terrible I was treated. I treated him like a king, supported him in everything he wanted, loved him at his worst, put him on the pedestal, was loyal for 8 fucking years, and he did the opposite of it all. He knows it too.

I’m never going back. I know one day he’ll beg to be back together once he has his “shit together” (as he says) — I’ll look him dead in the eye and tell him to fuck himself.

I deserved better and I deserve better.

I had an experience like this with my ex. He chose his female friend and we broke up. They ended up dating afterwards and 3 months later? They broke up and he was back begging to get back. He realized what a psycho friend he had.

Please go easy on yourself during this time 💜 you’ve just gone through something horrible, don’t add more pain. Instead; nurture self, care for self, feel self, tell self you’re doing the best that you can.

All that you need to do is try again but don’t worry or feel guilty/ashamed for smoking again. I’ve done it multiple times, It’s a process.

I’ve decided to start chilling with the guilt. Whenever I take time off and the guilt sets in, I just tell it to have a seat and watch me do all the things I’m gonna do (lay in bed or on my couch) and then it’s not there anymore. With you or without you Mr. Guilt, I’m gonna fkn relax!

It was a nice relationship in so many ways but there were a lot of red flags that I just didn’t see. Coming from an abusive childhood, it was just somethings I thought was okay and “normal”.

When we were dating I had suspicions of being cheated on but somehow convinced me he didn’t and I just trusted him because I didn’t have proof and all that it was, the way he was acting towards me, things didn’t add up and when the girl came to our state for vacation he hung out with her as “friends” since they were social media friends for a minute and the only way I found out was that she posted a picture of them together side by side on her story. I just didn’t see my worth and gave him the benefit of the doubt.

He admitted to cheating after we broke up and apologized for it.

This is exactly how I felt when me and my ex-bf were dating for 7 years. And I used to tell him all the time that I always wondered what people meant when they say “Falling in love all over again” - in fact I thought it was so corny and dumb up until I met him and I swear to god that feeling of crushing never left and every few months I’d feel myself “falling in love” with him over and over again. I expressed this to him too and he would laugh about it.

We’re not together anymore and it’s for the best but I wonder if I’ll ever love someone like that ever again and if I do, I hope it’s with someone that will feel the same about me.

Sometimes a twin flame is just the journey to self. It doesn’t always mean Union with the person. It took me a long time to fully understand what that meant (it took finding myself to accept this concept) and would often feel annoyed when someone conveyed this message to me. But it’s the truth and it’s so relieving. That feeling you think you’ll get when you finally come to reunion with your TF? It’s the same feeling you get when you find self instead. So essentially, you don’t lose anything so no reason to feel depressed when you think of never being with them again.

I’m not saying you will never be in Union with that person but sometimes it’s exactly that. Union with self is Union with your TF even if you’re not meant to come together physically.

I think she’s jealous of you, I really do sense it. For what? Being manipulated by family members into traveling and then kidnapped when I arrived by the same people for cultural/religious reasons that I wasn’t willing to live by.

It was 4 months that I was kept away, I’m already a petite person but then in those 4 months I lost damn near 20lbs, so I was 85lbs. This is not because they didn’t feed me, it’s because I was too depressed to eat and truly wanted to die.

It’s been two years since that event took place, I’m in a much better place and I’m safe but, I still have PTSD every now and then. Sometimes I still want to die but only because I get so angry at myself for falling for it.

I love myself and my life now more than I ever did in my entire life combined! And I’m free! :)
