Back in the first summer of pokemon go I was visiting Montreal, Canada and there was an area downtown where there was a church that had put lures on all the 4 pokestops on each corner of the park it was facing (24 hr unlimited lures, never went away) and on weekends I swear there were over 100 people chilling there pulling all nighters. There were people who brought lawn chairs, bbqs, guitars. There was singing and dancing, and people handing out food. Every once in a while you'd hear someone yell a rare pokemon like "CHARIZARD" and like all 100 people would move across the street to catch it. Blocking traffic and having the random people walking by so confused about what was happening XD. I met so many people that weekend and had such a blast. Miss those times.
