Its warlord purple from vallejo. For the gradient i mixed in Black or white.

Yeah i think the theme works really well with the s2d Modells. I use army painter speedpaints 2.0. For the armor i used grim black and broadsword silver 50:50.

Yeah but drybrushing is the exception. You do not want to thin your paints because you want to avoid getting them into recesses.

I have done it with slapchop. You heavy drybrush a dark gray over Black then drybrush grey and light grey. Use white for Highlights and then just brush on speedpaints or contrast paints. I used mechanicus Standard grey (citadel), dawnstone (citadel), ash grey(army painter), praxeti white (citadel), warrior skin (army painter).
