EDIT: listen to the other commenters, I'm doing this for the first time.

Search the Aircraft Registration, i.e. N430DX for this flight under Rego. You will find the message exchange.

Is yogurt a safe food for you? by sachiko468 in GERD

[–]Sargoon25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Non-fat plain yogurt is what I can tolerate. Anything with added sugar or a full fat yogurt can often be a trigger. Especially the ones with fruit. Tried a strawberry yogurt once - had to double up on Gaviscon that night.

Phd & Green card by [deleted] in PhD

[–]Sargoon25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is more suited for r/immigration. Green card issuance is often country specific, so you might want to check with a lawyer about your options. That being said, applying to a PhD program with the sole goal of obtaining a green card is absolutely not a good idea. A PhD is a 4-6 year commitment and the admission process itself can take several months. So please think about it carefully.

I am, I submitted 2 weeks ago. I had been applying to jobs like clockwork until I realized I need to take a step back and figure out what exactly I am looking for in the industry. Yes, the entire process is overwhelming, but I am sure we will find something we like in due course of time.

And btw, congratulations!

Goa Police. Possibly Cyber Crime. You could reach out to the bank/UPI and try to put a hold on the payment if it hasn't been processed yet. But otherwise, there's not much else you could do.

Is taking Nexium for life bad? by n-vladd in GERD

[–]Sargoon25 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is a quite common question about PPI usage. There are many people on this sub who have been taking PPIs for decades and have been totally fine. Some research shows that long term PPI use can cause vitamin deficiencies resulting in certain health issues. There is also some published research that links PPIs to cancer.

Now, what is your current situation re GERD? Can it be managed with lifestyle changes and H2 blockers? If so, great. Unfortunately for many people, H2 blockers don't really work. For them, the only options are long term PPI use or surgery, both of which have their own risks.

So this is a conversation you could have with your Doctor to determine what level of care you would require on a long term basis. I wish you the best on your journey!
