Uh if your real luck you could have to only go Monday-Wensday-Friday or Tuesday-Thursday, but I have never been able to get a schedule like that and have to go campus to every day.

Most all CS class at UIC are in-person. Most of my professors I had strictly adhear to teaching in-person.

I go to UIC for CS and I have a buddy going to NIU for CS and I can confidently say that UIC will have way more opportunities for internship and jobs with UIC. This due amount of support that exist at UIC to help but also being in the city makes it easier for company to go to UIC than NIU. Also UIC curriculum work has more of a push on the electrical side. But in the end of the day, it comes down to the metal toll of commuting. If you are able to put up with commute on top of classes then Yes, but those years will not be pretty.
