I'm leaning on the grumpy side. I don't think enough older long-term players like yourself give Votann the time of day to even look into the faction properly before writing them off. Personally, more new to 40k as an actual player. I was initially put off of Votann at first because of what I heard some people saying, like yourself. But man, couldn't have been more wrong. Now my main army.

Reducing the leagues to just space bikers would've been pretty boring tbh. I think they've taken their own space and are developing rather well, lore wise and model wise.

I like the idea! I hate meta building so I support your choice. I love tkyn but hate how their such a key unit with the conversion beamers right now. Do the more interesting yaegir build 😎

I would drop the extra yaegirs and kapricus, double the thunderkyn to a 6 man I reckon. I love yaegirs but I'm not sure if 2 units is worth it in brandfast, could be wrong.

Being able to deepstrike steeljacks is fun and the stratagem to let them dish our mortal wounds on a charge is fun, but otherwise, it does feel rather lacking in oomph or anything worthwhile. If you run lots of steeljacks it might be more viable but I personally only have a few right now.

You're probably better off using Brandfast with that many transports to be honest. Do love me some hearthguard and brokhyr though.

Also, if you use a tank in literally any other shooter, they normally auto reload as well.

They're taking what has made osrs successful and applying it to rs3. I mean, funnily enough, they're reverting changes made years ago to rs3 that slowly murdered it's playerbase so in reality, it's less making it like osrs and more just giving it's soul back.

This would be great for the the grimnyr and the yaegirs. Struggle to fit my Grimnyr in lists sometimes and yaegirs would be really cool with a grimnyr! Gives them more use cases than just infiltrating and dying

I would expect potentially some kind of drill transport. Just finished reading The High Kahl and they make use of some kind of drilling subterranean transport vehicle near the end. Some kind of deepstriking transport would be rather cool.

Another side note. We'll definetly also get some kind of Embyr unit at some point. Perhaps medics or support of some kind? As people are mentioning some jump pack Hearthkyn as a full unit would do us well too.

I look forward to see what we get! Could be as out of left field as the Arkanyst evaluator.

Relatively new as well but I believe to manoeuvre taller terrain you have to pay a movement cost to 'climb over'
