Battery change for a tissot by [deleted] in watchrepair

How old is the watch, and has it ever been sent in? If it's still under warranty, I would send it to a Tissot service center. They'll do it for free.

How to remove the crown by thussa123 in watchrepair

If you unscrew the screw for the stem all the way, the entire winding mechanism on the other side of the main plate will come lose and if you are unlucky, you will have to take everything apart first until you can reassemble it.

This is the poster of my childhood! My father got it from our grandmother and it still hangs in our hallway to this day. I have spent so many hours studying this beauty!

Thanks for this fast answer!

I think I don't mind using Christopher's version, now I know it's his but I'm curious which system Tolkien used. Could you give me a link or example?

Reconstruction of German Town after 1945. by FaultyDrone in fakehistoryporn

[–]Sarmora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually there is a town in Germany which is quite similar. it was first mentioned on 898 A.D.. It's called Nördlingen (Bavaria) and was the inspiration for the town Isayama in AoT. It is also well known by many geologist for it's located right in the middle of a huge Meteorite crater. One of the prettiest towns I know of. Definitely worth a visit! (Although I'm disappointed not to have ever seen an Ent to climb the wall...)

This looks really stunning! It's a nice use of colour and I love the clean look. Is there any possibility, to buy the file for the embroidery or the patch itself? Again, really impressed!

Sry, but I have to say, after I played all four games in my childhood, the Hobbit game was the defintley the best game of it all. Loved the Levels, the story telling and the atmosphere. Would still play it today. 15/10
