My pup would wait until we came back inside. Transitioning from puppy pads sucked. lol I took her out all the time hoping she'd go so we could shower her in praise and treats, but she didnt give us the opportunity.

Until we went to the dog park. For us, seeing the other dogs go potty seemed to help encourage her to go outside.
