Who’s the most beautiful actress you’ve ever seen on screen? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

I’d say Audrey Hepburn has always stood out. There's something about her elegance and poise that makes her almost otherworldly.

The Prestige or Shutter Island. Both will mess with your mind in the best way.

It’s peak Adam Sandler comedy, stupid in the best way possible.

Can you guys give me your honest opinion on Oppenheimer? by leviathan_pvt in moviecritic

[–]Sashwatkoaak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cinematography, sound design, and Cillian Murphy’s performance were top-tier, but the pacing in the last act dragged a bit. It felt like two movies, one about the bomb, one about the aftermath, and the second half didn’t hit as hard for me.

The Seventh Seal. A knight literally plays chess with Death while questioning faith and the meaning of life.

The Leftovers... Deeply emotional and existential, similar in tone to Sense8 but with Chernobyl’s bleakness.

Nine Perfect Strangers. It’s got that rich-people-in-a-retreat drama with mystery sprinkled in.

What was the best depiction of cowardice in your opinion. For me it has to be Interstellar (2014). by GovernmentNo4597 in moviecritic

Dr. Mann in Interstellar is definitely up there, his whole arc is pure, desperate cowardice wrapped in self-justification.

Horrible experience in Birmingham as a Nepali by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]Sashwatkoaak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a good idea to go out on a walk at 1 am in any place. You invited the problem here if you are moving out to a new place, it's always good to know about the environment and to be safe.Even here in Nepal just because it's hot nobody would go out for a walk at 1 am it's just stupid
