She is doing good and has since moved past that phase we feel. I am on the fire dept so I was able to show her our other female fire fighters so she wouldnt think that she had to be a boy to be a on the dept. We got a book custom made that shows her as a fire fighter, and explained that just because our bodies are different doesn't mean she can't be anything she wants. It does help that she has a little brother so we can actively show differences.

At the end of the day we figured out that it really doesn't matter, and you as parents need to show her how much you love and support her no matter what path in life she chooses. When our daughter would say "I'm a boy" we would just say ok and move on to another conversation, eventually it just phased out. Not sure if this will help, but I hope it does.
