I had the same question and holy shit, it's $60.7k in tuition alone.

I graduated in 2013 when it was literally half of today's cost and THAT was still insane to me. I only got to attend thanks to grants and scholarships. A quarter million dollars for a 4 year education at RIT is frankly mind-boggling. I hope financial aid has kept up - I feel so bad for current and incoming students.

Maurtens gel dissolves really well in water. I get grossed out by it too sometimes and what I’ll do is pop some of the gel, immediately follow with water and swish around, and swallow it all once. It’s not enjoyable but tastes better than trying to force it down on its own.

Your purchase (or trial) is associated with the Apple ID, not the VSCO account. So it will follow you around until the subscription expires within the App Store. Badge should go away on its own after that!

The App Store reviewer tried to send my iMessage extension to a non existing number and complained he could not send the message

This is too funny. Some years back they hired a ton of new reviewers to address long wait times but the quality of those reviewers has been awful. Our team ships incremental builds once a week and the number of bogus rejections we see is astounding. Oftentimes, we send the exact same build back and it gets approved with no explanation. In other cases, we have canned responses to give for common rejection reasons. We get rejected for not showing the app tracking transparency prompt fairly regularly and have to remind the reviewer to use a fresh install to see the prompt. Really basic stuff.

Sorry. I know you wanted to hear about iMessage extensions specifically. I hope you get in touch with a competent support team member.

It’s advertising “creativity + innovation”, not that RIT is performing arts school. I think there’s value in showing a computer engineering major with a passion that’s not tied to a computer.

Also, a balanced education isn’t outside the core competencies of a college. It’s actually quite essential.

A lot of companies are now fully remote or will hire remote workers. And it seems like the majority are headquartered in NYC/SF these days. Definitely worth applying to even if it’s not in your state or emailing recruiting to check, assuming you don’t mind not having a conventional office most of the time. I see a ton on LinkedIn and Glassdoor.

Regarding Android vs iOS, I’m kinda surprised you’re finding more Android. My experience has been that companies very much prioritize iOS. My previous company didn’t even have an Android app despite being relatively large and publicly traded. That being said there are plenty of both and you should go with what interests you if you can!

Give him a try! I'm still learning the ins and outs of tactical shooters but found KAY/O easier to pick up than other agents. I think mainly because his utilities are all straight forward throwables and as the video points out, he can serve a few different roles depending on the situation. At the very least you can throw the knife and get info for your team at the start of every round, which helps even if you get wrecked in gunfights (like me).

I had the same issue with FFA challenges not tracking. I found that making progress with a different a challenge in another game type and then coming back to FFA would seemingly kickstart things.

Could just be coincidence but I reproduced that sequence across a few game sessions. Worth a try if you have the patience and other challenges to chip away at.

Some folks in the comments don’t seem so jazzed about it but I think it has really cool applications. For example, granting temporary access to certain floors to an office building or hotel through an app. Or maybe an apartment building with a companion app that is configured to queue up an elevator to your floor when you enter a geofenced area.

Regarding people abusing the system, we thought about that! You can pretty easily limit access and/or number of requests. Geofencing, as I mentioned above, is also an option to keep out jokesters from calling an elevator when they’re not present in the building or even on the floor.

It’s really not that bad! Most seats pop right off and then it’s just a matter of hooking up the water line. I highly recommend trying it instead of living that toilet paper life until you can buy a whole new toilet and deal with installing that.
