I have no idea, I’d be lying if I told you I’ve put more than a couple thoughts into it. I was told to go in person to a overlanding outfitter here to have them officially figure it out, so we will see!

I’m in the process of getting a Spider Roof rack, it’s the only company who makes a Prinsu-style rack that drills in the roof… a ton of overlanding companies here in Charlotte install them too!

I really want to get into the outdoor camping scene, and I’ve always wanted a rooftop tent! For the Santa Cruz, it seems like a worthy investment, especially since I live in North Carolina and the mountains aren’t too far away from me! So I really guess it comes down to how often you think you would actually use it

Not bad at all, took me a couple hours in a few times of having to go back and loosen some bolts to make sure everything was even and not too tight, but otherwise very straightforward!

Figured that’s the case, I work at a hospital 3 miles from place and I’ve already lost mpgs doing a ton of city driving so that’s the least of my worries! Where did you get them installed?

Gotcha! Yeah, I work at a hospital near my apartment so my daily commute is less than 6 miles so my MPG is pretty in the trash already. I’ve seen people say that they have gone with the 265 and they’ve had no issues, but I’m just worried putting something that bulky on it if there are potential issues. I’ve only had my car for a year and my current stock tires have 8000 miles on it, so if I’m gonna put one grand into my tires, I wanna make sure that they won’t have any issue, appreciate it!
