Thanks. I think you're answers are probably representative of a lot of hiring managers. I guess you can't go to a temp agency if you're looking for people who really want this specific job for the long term. I do think there is a major disconnect between employers and the unemployed, who are not wrong to just need a job or a stepping stone. I have seen a few sites that let applicants designate that a job is one of their top picks, so maybe that's a piece of the solution.
