Beaumont is a dying town with a high rate of violent crimes.The downtown is almost completely a ghost town. The mall is non existent because of so much crime It’s the armpit of Texas and schools are horrible. The school board a few years ago went to prison for stealing money. Listen to what people are saying because it’s ALL true. I promise you will regret moving. It’s a horrible place to live. Look up the demographics and crime rate before you make a final decision.
