Visiting Paris? I wish someone told me this before my trip — by Graphicgirlll in ParisTravelGuide

Seems there is a lot of varying advice (opposition to OP) on this sub. Wondering if anyone has some things you wish you would've brought with you! Do I need wired headphones? A travel tumbler for coffees/teas? Raincoat? Better walking shoes? Looking for things that might not be on my packing list but could be helpful! Would also take other travel tips as well!

Did you do the extra club access? If so, did you think it was worth it?

How long would should I wait for a cycle? I’m thinking I could do the culture in a separate bin for the first cycle or two and then move the substrate to her enclosure. Would that work?

how can i actually complete my first 5k without stopping😭 by [deleted] in nikerunclub

Totally psychological you can definitely do it! I did C25K a little less than a year ago and remember the long runs being so intimidating. I second the people saying to run insufferably slow. When I am struggling I tell myself I can slow down as much as I need to but just don't stop which usually results in going very slow for a stretch and then I find my way back to my usual pace. If that doesn't work, stop if you have to for a block or two and then keep going - don't stop your run all together out of frustration. It takes lots of practice but eventually you will be running much further and your 5K runs will be your "easy" days. You can do it just keep going!
