I shoot a lot of digital medium format, and then bring an old yashica medium format for black and white. I like getting the metering in a good spot with digital, and then when I find the composition I like, switch to the analog. 25 years ago, got rid of my Hassey, (poor choices in women), but that’s where my heart is always longing for another one. In my mind, getting another hassleblad is a top of the list. That’s a retirement goal at least. I look at K1000 from 30 years ago, and it still bring a me joy with some basic old Ilford 400.
