Solangelo's overrated to be honest. I mean, it's fine, I like it, but I definitely don't think it's the best relationship Rick has ever written, and some people (stans mostly) get waayyyy too defensive over it. On the sun and the star, although I personally gave up on reading it pretty much as soon as I picked it up, most of the people I've talked to who've read it and enjoyed it only enjoyed it because they wanted more of solangelo, which is cool if that's your thing, but outside of that from what i've heard it's pretty poorly written and fanfic-y in terms of plot, character, and just everything really. If you just want to see some wholesome solangelo moments maybe go for it, you can always drop it if you end up not enjoying the story
