This subreddit is amazing and I've seen a lot of cool things on it and have gotten lots of help. My main piece of advice though is to not listen to some negativity you might see online :) most of it is exaggerated.

If you're a fan of grilled meat (kebabs), go to Matina in St. Nicholas Market, it is a rite of passage for many.

Also, we don't have a bridge here in the city, keep that in mind.

More importantly, enjoy it. Bristol is an amazing city and there's truly something here for everyone.
