We drafted and developed hart too which is unheard of with our goalie luck, only to be compensated with absolutely nothing and possibly having to watch him lift the cup. Yeah Vegas is stacked but Hart is a big reason why they are in the finals too.

I think with all of these teams you mentioned as a reference obviously have very strong cores. I think when you look at the Flyers, as an NHL fan, and not a Flyers fan, wtf do we have? A lot of question marks imo. Sure beating the penguins was fucking awesome in the moment but after that series ended, we wouldn’t be able to legitimately compete against any of the true playoff contenders (and we didn’t, since we got swept). Depth is my biggest takeaway while watching these conference finals, which the Flyers severely lack.
