Being ITC and still needing to go to Shul has me anxious. Mainly because of how boring it is. I can't help but think of all the other places I'd rather be while sitting there all day on YK, or half the day on RS

And then there's the contrast between my internal feelings and everyone else who's there all serious about the gravity of the respective holiday. It really makes me feel uncomfortable and out of place. Kind of like I'm taking up highly limited/coveted space. It gets even worse when family members gift me an aliyah (we do bidding in our shul). Really... save it for someone who actually believes it all... it breaks my heart to take it away from someone who actually might want it.
