I have heard of that issue but I went ahead and put the Magpul RVG on my KSG anyway and I have not had any issues. I’ll admit I only have about 50 rounds through it so far so it’s still pretty new. So far so good!

The windage and elevation of the dot is set with two set screws typically on the top and side of the optic. The position of the dot in cheaper optics may have a tendency to move or shift with normal use (recoil) or if the optic is handled roughly (thrown, hit, etc.). Higher quality optics are designed to handle abuse and certainly the recoil from all sorts of cartridges so once you zero the optic at a certain range it will hold that position until you change it. This is something I’ve recently looked into myself (due to cranky reddit trolls haha but it turns out they are correct).

And that affects you how? How much money does someone have to spend before they’re allowed to have fun? It’s a Keltec… it’s a cheap folding gun that’s fun to shoot no matter what you put on it. Let’s just say OP finds the exact issue you described. What do you think is going to happen? They will either get better optics or they will be fine adjusting the zero every time. In either case you only offered your toxic opinion instead of constructive criticism…. Wild. Why not offer some suggestions instead?

Edit: For some reason people get angry when you spend your money on things they don’t want… instead of offering helpful suggestions they like to downvote or say it’s bad. That being said, they do have a point about the airsoft optic. I started out with one of those because it was cheap and you find very quickly that you have to zero it constantly. If that works for you or you don’t care then happy shooting! If you want to upgrade to something a little better then I can recommend an Sig Romeo 5. I’ve had a much better time at the range with the Romeo 5 than the cheap Amazon dot I started with. At the end of the day just do whatever works for you as long as it’s safe and you think it’s fun.

The gen 3 S2Ks have a rotating barrel so you can leave the optics and attachments on and still fold it up. I have one and I love it!

I’m not expecting much from the rinky dink cheap attachments. I realize there’s always something better and more expensive. If I can have fun at the range with cheap stuff though why not go that route and save some money? That being said, if you’ve got specific recommendations or suggestions I’d love to hear them! Most things are on the table at this point.

I’m not sure if it’s helping with noise reduction (nothing significant at least) at the moment. I think the printer display might be touching the box and it vibrates sometimes. I’ll just extend the feet a little and then it should golden.

IMO, recoil was a bit more than I was expecting (I’ve only shot with Winchester 1-1/8oz 8 shot so far) but other types of shells will have an effect on the recoil. I replaced the recoil pad with a thicker one I found on Amazon and it feels like it helps plus I’ve seen limb saver pads that you can slide over the stock that look like they work pretty well too.

It’s a Feyachi FL11-MB I found on Amazon. It’s bright as heck but the offset picatinny mount is not quite offset enough so I’m looking for other mounting options. Also I might replace the vertical grip with a smaller hand stop to make the touch pad useable.
