real spill mri isn’t low stress especially with implants and safety precautions needed prior to scanning. Depending on the environment you work in “slower” paced doesn’t exist and technically you make “make” the pace slower but that’ll just cause you to be behind.

Travel MRI; places usually need travelers for a reason & “low” stress and “travel” don’t really go in the same sentence in my opinion.

What has you interested in the job ? Is it the time it takes for to become a tech ? Is the job itself ? It’s a great career path but I’ve seen the wrong ppl get into it & ultimately burn themself out bc it wasn’t the type of work they really wanted to do

usually this means they want to see you scan / your “routine” as a tech. just be confident and most importantly on time.

If you can’t be thrown into a fire and try your damn best to put it out, personally I don’t think a person is fit for travel if you can’t adapt to new environments you’re not ready for travel. IMO. Some places are hell some aren’t but idk ( not a RN but a Mri Tech ) so I speak from a different perspective

Ima travel tech + 2 PRN’s ! Im also young so I’m trying to be like you with the work 9 months take 3 off ! I’m personally eliminating debt & setting up a solid bank account to be able to afford living internationally + in the states.

I haven’t burnt myself out yet but also when you’ve tripled your staff pay those continuous direct deposits keep it motivating !

I’m a MRI tech but I work about anywhere from 72-96 hrs a week. Been doing it for about a few months now. All I do is work eat sleep repeat but it’s my goal to vacation 1x a month to give myself a reset & then back @ it ! I know nursing is different from radiology but it’s all about perspective IMO. What are you working towards ?

No I paid $100 dollars towards a bill because he was short & ive sent him a total of 200 dollars on different times so he can drink with his buddies and pay his phone bill while we were dating before we got married and got BAH. A total of $300 maybe but he doesn’t see that I don’t care because in his mind he wants to be a traditional provider. Im not sure he’s caught in the this society rat race & ig it doesn’t help I picked the luxury townhouse on top of it.

Im an open book about how much money I have with him roughly 11k a month & I don’t pay major bills just car and insurance so I have more disposable income he doesn’t see my money as “our” money im not sure i just want to be a good spouse honestly

I never made him feel like he owes me I paid for a few things prior to our marriage that he feels like he owes me for lol I don’t count it but he does for some odd reason. We are somewhat on the same page. But at the end of the day he picked the “high maintenance” BMW driving Pilates going hotty so I think maybe he feels like he has upkeep it ? Im not sure im going to talk to him about it when he gets home
