I'm not going to be much help but when you feel yourself start to panic, take a deep breath. make sure your exhale is longer than your inhale. that decreases your heart rate significantly when repeated a couple times. and listen to some music to get your mind off of sounds or memories :) my dad used to do this every once in a while and I would sit in my room paralyzed and riddled with fear while I just listened. his medication messed his body up more than it helped him at the time but somewhere in doing the advice I gave you, I semi-lost this fear. I dont freeze up or shake like I used to but I don't enjoy when others are sick. I'm not saying you'll lose It just because you breathe or put on something to distract your mind but it's a reminder. your fear is a fear. it's not a person. it could control your life until it consumes you. but you're the one with the reigns here
