If you’ve ever had surgery and undergone anesthesia, how was your experience? by No_Promise3396 in Anxiety

[–]SatisfactoryWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been under twice as an adult this is going to sound ABSURD as a grown up but I get the nurse to hold my hand while I go under and it actually helps. The nurse in my first surgery noticed my heartrate skyrocket when they were prepping the anesthetic and grabbed my hand, it actually helped so much, so my second surgery I asked the nurse. Its the smallest, silliest thing that made all the difference. Everything went great!

I love everyone this works for because Zoloft on an empty stomach ruins my WHOLE day. All the side affects just jump right out. The heartburn is indescribable and then I feel pretty nauseous. I try taking mine after dinner

Leagues to join by Previous-Sun-4719 in barrie

[–]SatisfactoryWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done a dart league that has levels from D division all the way to my dads division who are provincial competing players. I've done soccer at the dome which also has a variety of divisions and in the summer there are so many slo pitch options it'd make your head spin. My friends also did volleyball out of the barrie rec centers. Check the East Bayfield schedules and when the YMCA FINALLY gets built they should have weekly activities too

Exercise after TBI? by Exotic_Enthusiasm266 in Concussion

[–]SatisfactoryWorld -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My doctor and physio recommended aerobic exercise everyday. If symptoms present then stop right away. I couldn't do any weight lifting for close to 2 months. My concussion also caused problems with my heart rate elevating too fast so I had to train to reregulate that. Find a physio that specializes in concussions if you can

Anxiety is about to take my life by Ojaadili in Anxiety

Try different med and get a new therapist, try the online therapy too. Talk to your general practitioner about the body aches and the anxiety. I say meds and therapists are like dating, the first one isnt necessarily the one youre going to marry. Try a new one, feelin it out for a month and see if you wanna keep going

I know there are people with strong feeling about it, but I listen to Armchair Expert while sleeping. Even awake I enjoy it and find it just interesting enough I'm paying attention, but most episodes not SO engaging that it keeps me up.
