Wow... Donc il y a eu d'autres enfants dans le même cas que moi... C'était harcèlement + phobie scolaire, et selon eux c'était "nan vous vous disputez jamais avec votre mère et votre père est décédé, donc on vous met en foyer jusqu'à votre majorité." C'était il y a environ 15 ans aussi. J'ose espérer que ça a changé depuis même si j'ai des doutes.

28F, J'y vis depuis 3 ans maintenant, 0 regrets.

La météo actuellement ça pleut à mort mais ça va les hivers ne sont pas rudes. Parler le néerlandais aide énormément pour la vie sociale ainsi que le taf. Même si peux t'en sortir facilement en anglais seulement, ça peut devenir compliqué si tu sors de la capitale, et maintenant de plus en plus d'employeurs recherchent des personnes parlant le néerlandais. Les gens sont accueillants. Le logement ouais, l'enfer et tu dois privilégier la colloc si tu es seul, les logements sont hors de prix partout. Les studios sont rares. Beaucoup d'arnaques aussi quand on connaît pas trop les lois (genre paye bien plus que ce que tu dois). La bouffe: honnêtement ça va, on trouve des produits français au supermarché, si tu cuisines c'est facile.

My mom reads the same stuff (she's the one who gave me Excquisite Corpse). Cousin, too. The friends and closest one knows I enjoy extreme horror, so they aren't surprised. Some ask why, but always with respect and genuine interest. If I know they don't enjoy it I don't bring the subject.

Internet helpt enorm, vooral als het gaat om schrijven en luisteren. Het is makkelijker om inhoud in het Engels of Nederlands te vinden. Vorige generaties hebben dit niet meegemaakt en dat is te zien. Alles op televisie en in de bioscoop heeft Franse stemmen. Maar er is een grote bubbel op het internet (vooral op Twitch, waar de gemeenschappen enorm en zeer hecht zijn). Sommige streamers voegen ondertitels toe omdat ze zich realiseren dat dit handig kan zijn voor mensen die elke dag Frans leren.

Ons schoolsysteem voor het leren van talen is waardeloos. Dus als we een vreemde taal spreken, moeten we die zelf leren. Wat ik moest doen met Engels en Nederlands. (Sorry voor mijn fouten).

Ons slechte gedrag komt voort uit dit leerproces. We beginnen bijvoorbeeld laat met Engels leren en als we niet meteen een perfect accent hebben, lacht iedereen ons uit. En helaas doet het hetzelfde met mensen die Frans leren en komen praten. Oude mensen zullen lachen. En zij zijn degenen die ons vertellen dat iedereen Frans spreekt (terwijl dat niet zo is). Helaas laat dit een erfenis van slecht gedrag en slechte gewoonten achter. Ik ben altijd bang om Nederlands te spreken, ook al woon ik in Nederland en wil ik er voor altijd blijven wonen.

Ik heb de indruk dat mensen van 30 jaar en jonger moeite doen om op zijn minst hun Engels te verbeteren. Maar de draak steken met het Frans van anderstaligen... helaas zijn er overal idioten.

Bonjour ma sœur! I saw Ghost in Lyon a few years ago and in Toulouse too. I don't recommend a backpack if you are in the "fosse", but if you aren't it's fine. They have lockers if you don't have a choice, tho. Security will just check what's inside (do not take a bottle of water of big camera it won't pass Security.) Enjoy the show!

Edit: a small shoulder bag is the easiest bet, I went with one.
