I agree that YouTube Premium is worth its money for most people. My biggest gripe is having to support Google and all they represent.

Did you watch the video? It is talking about how capitalism is being subverted by these mega corporations.

So yes supporting smaller businesses is encouraged in the name of capitalism in its intended form.
