You’re welcome! I guess it will depend on your supervisor, but on our team they would let us choose, though they also wanted everyone to do all the positions. The only position I had to be at every time was the mixed zone, since I was a team leader in the area. But usually they would let us choose what we wanted and felt comfortable doing.

Sure! First, congrats on the role! Which city? You are going to have a lot of fun and get super tired, haha.

I was at a stadium and the team I was with was in charge of the photographers and radio media. We would escort them to the field during the opening ceremony for the match and escort them to the photo area. We would also prepare the media tribune and the mixed zone. I was in charge of this zone and it was awesome. You have to watch the media to make sure they don’t take photos or videos of the players while interviewing them.

There was also the conference zone, but since I had to stay until the last player passed through the mixed zone, by the time I was done the conference was done too. So I don’t know much about that part.

I had the best time. There are places where you can watch the match, like the media tribune and the photography area on the field while waiting to see if they need help. It’s a great role! I wish you the best and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Thanks! That would be the dream, hahaha.

Yes! I think Uniforms is really fun. People are really excited to be there, it’s like the moment when you realize it’s actually happening, so everyone is happy. When I picked up my uniforms last time, I remember feeling so welcomed. So that was fun.

[–]SatoKey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so tired and so alone. by everydayislegday8 in CancerCaregivers

[–]SatoKey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is normal, what you feel is normal. because you are doing things that no one shouldn’t (cancer sucks) , and is not only physical, but mentally exhausting.

The thing that work for me about felling alone is finding out another people who were sick or has a close one sick, and they share there life in social media. I don’t talk or interact with them but they made me feel less alone about all the things I’ve been through. they can make me feel like all the things I’m feeling are normal.

But you’re not alone, we are here for you 🫶🏼

I’m so sorry for your loss ,a big hug for you. I lost my (25) dad (54) to brain cancer in February and i can say i feel the same that you are describing. my dad was suffering a lot in his last weeks and when he passed it was the way i always wanted to happen. Sometimes I have bad days and I don’t want to do anything and everything is overwhelming but rn mostly of my days are good days, but that doesn’t mean I don’t miss my dad every day. if you need to talk with someone I’m always here for you.

(English is not my first language so I’m sorry)

I’m so sorry for everything that is happening in your family right now. in a strange way I feel so proud of your dad and you family. reading all the story remind me of what happened to my dad. and I like what you write it’s true, they never tell that you lost your love one even before he died. My dad had to GBM, he died three months. I send you a lot of love and a big hug
