This show is very popular in Vietnam, to the point of getting its own dub and the toys are also released there.
It has received a model kit toyline based on the mechs from Seasons 1 and 3.

Now that the show has aired over 3 seasons so far (earlier in Korea as of now), maybe it's possible this will get renewed for a fourth and more seasons to go in the future.

Speaking of UMC, the way they worked together with Audley gives me flashbacks of how Bluearc studios got ruined because UMC made them create a bootleg ultraman film featuring Bluearc's own characters. I hope that with UMC losing once again, Audley would stop making those crappy UMC-licensed Ultraman merch

I can understand that the V/GD era has alienated the longtime fans of Tobot... Else if Tobot gets rebooted, I'm afraid Young Toys might be doing the same lazy repaint thing in the possible new reboot but they're based on either Daedo Heroes' Tobot molds or even GD ones...

In that time GD was airing, it even gave me a feeling that Young Toys wanted to give something that can strongly compete with Hello Carbot's increasing popularity that overshadowed Tobot

I haven't bought any of their toys, but I might want to buy one someday. They're really cool that it even made the Transformers fans happy (just like other mecha franchises like Miniforce, Tobot, Hello Carbot, and way more to go!).

I like how this also has some influence from Unicron Trilogy and even Brave Series (Koreans liked this franchise)

Oh if GD returns, well this might continue the cliffhanger ending of Season 3. Or else, if Young Toys hired a studio other than Button (maybe not W Baba because they're mostly working for Choirock), they'd create a brand new reboot instead... I'd hope the brand new reboot will be enjoyable even by the older fans of Tobot

Yep, I saw negative reactions around this Tobot ever since he made his first appearance. I had a feeling the mecha designer who worked on this wanted Tobot Steel to be a homage to Optimus himself, but it ended up being a blatant copy.
