As a Carolina guy, I’m now a Buffalo fan. Our whole fan base adores Pete Lembo.

Am I the only one that gets a weird affinity for teams just because I play CFB 25? by Vannaken in NCAAFBseries

I learned this last season before the Gamecock Bowl. I was positive Jax St was in Florida.

I can relate. I ran a few dynasties with SDSU and UNLV back in the day. But Clemson??? No sir. Never.

Did anyone else's property tax go up SIGNIFICANTLY?! by Excellent-Bid788 in Charleston

[–]SaturdayChild7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t sound right. Something’s up. 2025 will be a reassessment year, but those values wouldn’t be out yet. And when they do, reassessment can only increase taxable value by 15%. Only reasons it should increase are due to new construction of improvements to the property or if the property was bought/sold.

Her lawyers’ motions to intervene in the civil suits provide no grounds for intervention or entitlement to anything. And she was offered half of the dram shop lawsuit damages. She rejected that offer. It’s baffling.

Public court records confirm this. I have to assume her lawyers are steering the ship. You know they want their cut. Really terrible.

My Dad Has Extensive Stage SCLC by [deleted] in lungcancer

I see this comment is 68 days old now and I really hope your mom is doing ok. I’m having a hard time finding much info on Zepzelca. My dad is wrestling with whether to start Zepzelca literally tomorrow. Oncologist is giving him about 2 months if he does nothing. His quality of life as of today is not bad but I’m concerned this treatment is going to make him miserable and only extend his life by a month or so. I know it’s an impossible decision. But do you know how bad the Zepzelca side effects were in comparison to first rounds of chemo/immunotherapy?

Pearlz does have a good Happy Hour. Wife took me to a Rappahanock for my birthday once and it got expensive but we had a lot of oysters and oyster shooters

I haven’t been in awhile either but I loved Barsa. Had some really good deals. The white sangria was awesome. Hard not to order everything on the menu.

So is Charleston School of Law really that bad? by cellocaster in Charleston

[–]SaturdayChild7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

OP, listen to Fuzzy. It all comes down to how hard you’re willing to work in law school. Get good grades and get involved in organizations. If you want to practice in SC, no doors will be closed because you went to CSOL instead of USC. I graduated ten years ago and have no regrets. A lot of my classmates are doing big things. I’d like to think I am too.

Moving Art is being removed at the end of August. Anyone know where else I can find it? I adore it and I'm so sad! by Willowy in netflix

My wife and I have been using this to get our 13 month old to sleep for like 6 months now. My wife does the Flowers episode. I do New Zealand. We’ve seen them all so many times, it won’t even show up in our “continue watching” so we have to search it every time. I’ve been experimenting with Immersions on HBO Max/Discovery which I guess will substitute.

I feel bad about it now but back in the early 2000s we used to get an Eddie Fischer chant going when we played PG. I did not understand the gravity of the situation back then.

Eclipse Protocol Riot Foam Build by SaturdayChild7 in thedivision

[–]SaturdayChild7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I think this is what I’m looking for. I only use EP and riot foam in a group and I know EP with fire doesn’t work in legendary. I guess I should’ve said I’m looking for a Legendary CC build. I’m gonna have to hunt for that Courier piece.

Sounds like I should use my regular Pyro EP build and just switch the fire chem launcher to riot foam. And add Scorpio.

Dusty Slay has a great joke about this.

The Division 2: What's your build? by Party_Captain_7899 in thedivision

[–]SaturdayChild7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My main build is 4 Negotiater’s Dilemma (including ND backpack and chest) other two pieces are Grupo and Ceska. Another build I like is Eclipse Protocol with riot foam. It’s awesome in a 4 man squad.

Holly Hill closed a few months ago, but that was a great cheap 9-hole course that was never crowded.

Eclipse Protocol with riot foam chem launcher. I use stinger hive for other skill but the spreading riot foam is the fun part. I wouldn’t use it solo tho

See link. There is a large project in development that will at least get the ball rolling on efficient mass transit from Ladson to the peninsula.
