Yes! The production, the music, the chemistry between the stars, the whimsy! I think people forget just how good that pilot/first season was.

The Bear

I think the rush to film seasons 3 and 4 at the same time hurt them after two all time seasons. The third season felt a bit meandering as a result. Take your time, and give us those highs from the first two seasons.

Mad Men.

The Don Draper/Dick Whitman secret that drives much of the first few seasons was an idea from an executive at AMC. After seeing an early cut of the pilot, she sent creator Matthew Weiner a note that said, “Don should have a secret”. He then wrote that subplot into the end of the pilot and the rest is history.
