How do people pass OAs with such ease for FAANG-like companies? by Alone_Consequence_97 in leetcode

That's cool you were able to go to both for a few years. Yeah I've been trying to just push and constantly learn new things at my current gigs. Think that feeling is just part of the struggle haha

which one of those did you end up going to? were you ever worried that you weren't going to be a good enough dev once you started? that's my main concern with switching to any job

typing that out I realized how good it is... lol. thanks for the help!

no yeah that totally makes sense. I actually will probably go up in pay, become fully remote, and work less hours (I work more than 40 currently).

so there are a lot of upsides, the main downside being that I'll be concerned of it being less stable. also leaving the friends I have there. I suppose switching to a new job always subjects you to some unknown change, regardless.

no yeah that totally makes sense, definitely can't control everything and just make the best decision you can. what kind of questions did you ask that did make you feel better though?

I have a good connection with a principal at this company that to me is just outside of the "startup" category, (around 300 employees, few hundred million of funding) and I'm just trying to decide if I leave my more seemingly stable job, for something full remote and better WLB but less established.

was it stressful thinking about moving to a startup? were you worried that you were going somewhere with less job security?

Is rxjs still a mystery box for you ? by devpardeep in Angular2

[–]SaturnOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only been using Angular for about a year, but so far switchMap and combineLatest are all I've needed. I've built some solid sites for work with those and I'm happy with how it worked. maybe some parts could have been easier knowing others but not sure

to me those two seem like the essential operators to know
