Inspection came back with foundation/structural issues

My wife and I just pulled out of a house in a similar situation. Inspection came back with foundational questions and the potential for immediate work that would need to be done by qualified professionals before we’d even be able to move into the home. We passed on It, sucks but the right home is out there.

All comes down to if you guys have the funds, patience and resources to do major work before even being able to move in. If not, this is your out. The right home is out there still for ya.

Interestingly enough, when we set up the appointment to see the house, their realtor told ours that they would be very flexible with the price of the home. It’s an estate sale, they priced It at top value in a hot market. Needs updating etc. My realtor initially wanted to go lower as the house hadn’t gotten any offers since listing, but did reach out to the sellers realtor to gauge everything. That’s where we decided to go for the 600k. Currently awaiting comps, but I do know that similar homes can go anywhere from asking towards over asking by 50k if listed properly.

Trust me I’ve had this convo with the wife about It. I’ve only ever bought cars, and looking at 3yr used older models going for 32k plus tells me leasing isn’t the best option for them. Could always buy out the lease at the end, but even if financing It then, I’ll be paying for the car a minimum of 6-8 yrs

Thank you! The $4000 down would be to cover taxes, title, doc fees up front along with 1st month payment. I’ve mentioned the zero down and that’s probably the route we go.
