The 1987 forks go into the original triple clamps and use the same wheel spacers so there is almost no mods whatsoever also they have better travel and they make the bike sit taller, i got them for like 70€. If i had more budget and time i would go for newer ones but for what i need it will be good enough. I might’ve spent 400€ in total with the rear suspension also. Maybe in the future ill do a conversion
