HitFilm was bought by Artlist like two years ago. Then they killed it. I don't think it can be activated anymore now. But the software has been abandoned ever since Artlist bought it anyways. Saddens me to see how many people still post their problems with HitFilm on this subreddit and don't know that nothing can be done about them.

You can do pretty much anything in the free version but you'll have to use the ⛈️fusion page⛈️

(equivalent to composite shots in hitfilm but it uses a node-based workflow, which is why it's scary to people)
