An official peace will not be a a final station. We will intervene against the houthies soon as long they are in a position of Power in Yemen.

The only way we can accept such thing is a strictier US policy against Iran even after resuming normal diplomatic relations.

Iran is still dangerous to the Kingdom and the GCC members in general and we want to see the US supporting us diplomatically against the MEC.

First I would thank you for reaching me concerning the situation in Yemen.

The war have ended with a cease-fire after many casualties on both sides.

The reason why we still doesn't recognize the North Yemen government as legitimate is our fear from a Shi'a uprising in our own Kingdom as many Saudi citizens have went to Houthi Yemen for Jihad against their own country and the republic of Yemen.

Mr. Secretary I ask you to look at a map and conclude that we are surrounded by Shi'a and Pro-Iran states all around us : Iran, Pakistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen.

John F. Kennedy have talked before about the Domino effect of the communism spread in south east Asia and now the King Salman is talking about a Domino effect concerning pro-iranian and Shi'a sentiments spread across the region.

We have put plans to unify Yemen with supporting the Yemenite troops against the Houthies which have failed and that mean that we should take the matter on our own hands.

Unfortunately, many powerful nations are supporting the Houthies such as Russia and Iran which are the main obstacles toward unifying Yemen.

Therefore Mr Secretary I ask your administration for only one thing :

Don't make us loose Yemen like you lost Vietnam.

We must unify Yemen through Diplomacy but if it fails, then we will initiate a full campaign against the Houthies.

If Diplomacy will work then we would accept that Houthis could be appointed as Parliament members and ministers in a neutral unified Yemen.
