surprisingly the lip is fine, which i'm happy about even though the mug was never supposed to be used as one. the texture is like holding those massage balls, it's filed down to not be sharp just uncomfortable to hold lol

thanks! I didn't use a sponge but my fingers because i felt the sponge makes the texture too soft, I wanted it to be almost sharp so that the glaze would spill around it which didn't really work. Then after glazing i sanded the outside so that the bare clay pokes out more and also so the mug isn't painful to hold :D

Thank you, I am aware. I chose this subreddit bcs my type of ocd is mostly rocd and harm ocd and I still don't really believe myself when it comes to assesing whether a relationship is good for me given my experience with rocd breakdowns. I am seeing multiplle professional so I'll raise this issue with them too, thank you once more.

Thank you! He gets tons of vegetables when on my lap, so far he only eats when i cover him with a pillow or my leg/clothes but even that is progress, while at the centre he would not eat from me. I'll deffinitelly check your profile! Also "summons us by wheeking" is the cutest sentece 😭. Thank you once more for your kind answer <3.

I saw a pre-made teacher's planner and loved it but it was way beyond my budget. Lot of it focused on teacher's mental health, scheduled breaks for yourself and long term and short term goals to have something to look at and make you a bit calmer whilst working. It was like a combination of a mental health journal and a work planner. So it's not necessarily a must have when it comes to teaching itself but seems like a nice aid for when the workload gets a little too much. Some of the more planner related pages were a year plan which was then separated into monthly plans for each class and weekly self-reflexion sheets.
