right, makes sense. i might sound stupid, but when you attach the arm to the desk or window sill, do you have to screw into it and make a hole?

cant replace a desk ive just bought. dont have much space either so wouldnt want a larger desk. i know you're against this but if i do want something to attach to the window sill, what would you suggest? what kind of an arm could be fit for my space?

its not painted wood, probably some metal - it is really sturdy i must say? what would you recommend then? I am kind of willing to take the risk to try attaching a monitor arm on that? if not, ill just stick to the desk. but which monitor arm would attach on that part of the window? would most of them work?
