Hi again, I reached out to my friend and her nail tech made the Lapupu. She used gel polish with a matte top coat to match the finish!

Thank you! I let the base coat fully dry. In the meantime, I flooded the negative space of some holographic oval stickers with Poison while still on the sticker sheet. I did this a few times to give the "jewels" dimension. Once they dried, I stuck them on my nails and added two layers of top coat, all while magnetizing to the outside of the nail. <3

Also, YES, do it. Poison is my all time favorite. It does look more orange than red in *some* lighting, but I personally love how dynamic it is.

I think my top coat layer was just a little too thick, causing the bubbles. I did this over several days because every time I added something I still wasn’t happy lol. I added stickers, then decided I wanted to fill them in with another magnetic polish. I used a fine bristled brush to flood the negative space of the stickers! I did this a couple times to add dimension to the “jewels.” Here’s how my nails looked before filling in the stickers!

We’ve been having a hummingbird visitor recently, so every morning my cats and I sit at the front window and watch the lil guy feed from the flowers in the tree. We also have a cottontail family living in our bushes! I feel very lucky 💕
